How Do I Install Platform?
To start trading you'll first of all have to install the platform on your computer so that as you as a Stock Index trader can use it to connect to the online trading market.
You'll have to download this software from a broker and then install it.
Once you have downloaded it you'll then go to the download location of your browser, e.g. if you're using Firefox you as a stock indices trader can press the keyboard shortcut keys CTRL+J. Then choose the software you have just downloaded & follow the steps explained below:
The following pop-up window pop up will launch this application, click next as shown below:
Check the box shown below & then click next to proceed
The following window pop up will then be shown as shown below, also click next to proceed
The following panel pop up will popup showing the progress bar for the installation, this step will take a few minutes to complete & as trader you'll have to wait until the progress bar completes so that to proceed with the installation.
Once the progress bar completes, click finish as shown below so that to complete the platform software setup.
The installation is now complete & you as a stock indices trader can now access the platform through the desktop icon that is marked & tagged with the name & logo of your broker, or you as a stock indices trader can choose this software; go to the begin menu, then choose all programs, then choose this newly installed software - this software will be with the name of your broker.
Once you install & open the platform you are now ready to open a practice demo account to start practicing trading with.
