How Do You Open a Index Demo Account?
Once you as a trader install software, next step is to open a practice practice demo trading account. The practice demo trade account will be used to learn & train how to trade, place orders and analyze the movements of the various stock index available for trading on this platform.
The steps to open a demo practice account are explained below:
1. One should first open the platform and then choose 'File' at the top left corner of the platform such as shown below, a drop down menu then will appear and the online trader can then choose the option/choice to "Open an Account" as is displayed below.
1. Once one clicks the open a trading account option the trader will then be taken to a registration page as is shown below, trader should then enter their details and particulars so as to register and sign up for a practice demo account.
Once the above sign up form is complete one will then receive login and password details & particulars that they can use to access the practice demo account which they have just opened. The following confirmation window pop-up will show these details and particulars.
The same login details & particulars will also be sent to the email address that's used when signing up the practice demo account as is displayed below.
The next step is to use these details; login and password to login to the practice demo account on the platform such as shown below - click 'File' on the top left corner of the platform, then choose the option 'Login'.
The following Login window pop-up will popup & the trader should now use the login and password to login to the account as is displayed below.
Once the trader enter the log in details & particulars, they should also ensure the "Save trading account information" tick box is checked, this will save the details on the platform so that there is no need for you to retype these details and particulars every time one wants to login to their practice demo account.
The trader should then click the 'Login' button so as to login to their practice account & start trading index.
After login in, demo account will be such as shown below.
The practice demo trading account will show the trading charts & also the account balance shown & illustrated above. For our example above the demo account balance is $100,000 dollars - this window pop-up will show the account balance and profit will be added to this balance and losses deducted.
