This indicator is basically a simple moving average of the previous three periods highs or lows drawn based in relation to the HiLo Activator.

Technical Analysis and How to Generate Signals

Bullish Trading Signal- When price is above the Gann Activator it shows the trend is bullish & only Buy trade positions should be executed. In a bullish trend the activator uses the prior periods' indices price lows for calculations.

Bearish Signal- When price is below the Gann Activator it shows the market trend is bearish & only Sell trade positions should be executed. In a bearish trend the activator uses the prior periods' stock indices price highs for calculations.

Buy and Sell Signal

The Gann HiLo Activator should be used in combination with the Gann Swing and Gann Indices Trend indicator to form a system methodology that's oftenly referred to as 'New Gann Swing Chartist Trading Plan'. Within this technique/method the Gann Activator can be used as an entry signal or exit signal.
