How to Open Sell Stop Stock Order in MetaTrader 4

To set a Sell Stop Stock Order on MT4 Software - Use "New Order" window panel in the MetaTrader 4 platform "Tools" menu.

Place New Indices Order on Tools Menu in MetaTrader 4 Software

A new order to buy or sell a trade can be found on the tools menu within the MT4 Platform. The Button for placing a new trade is displayed & illustrated below. (ShortCut Key board Keys "F9")

Stock Indices Open a Sell Stop Indices Order to Trade Stock Indices on MT4 Software

As a trader, once you select the new order button as illustrated above following window pop up will appear. This window popup includes all the settings used for placing a new trade order.

Select the trading instrument you want to set a Sell Stop Indices Order for - then open it's chart & from the chart set the Sell Stop Indices Order using the Sell Stop Indices Order setting procedure described on this example illustrated below:

1. Open a Indices Trading Chart
2. Right-Click on Chart to open the Trade "Order" Window
3. On the Trade Order Panel, Select Pending Indices Order as shown below
4. Select Pending order Type as Sell Stop Stock Order as Show below
5. After selecting Sell Stop Stock Order - Click "Place" Order & specify the sell stop price level where the order will be opened
