What is Sell Limit Order in MetaTrader 4?
The example explained below explains how to set a sell limit order on the MT4 software.
A sell limit order is an order to sell indices at a better price after the trading market price has retraced.
Setting Sell Limit Orders in MetaTrader 4 Software
To set up these sell limit orders on MetaTrader 4 software use the following procedure:
- Right click on chart
- Choose "Trading" Option on the Menu
- Then Choose "New" Order Option on the Popup widow that pops up
- Then on the trade setup pop up window panel that appears (illustrated below), under label "Type" choose the option of "Pending Order" instead of "market execution" order
- Under the pending order options select the pending order type: for This trade select "Sell Limit Order" so as to place a pending sell limit order & after which specify the price at which you want the sell entry limit order executed.
