What is a Sell Stop Stock Indexes Order in MetaTrader 4?

The example explained and illustrated below explains how to set a sell stop indices order on the MT4 stock indexes trading platform.

A sell stop indices order is an order to sell indices at a indices price that is below the existing market indices price.

Setting Sell Stop Indices Trading Orders on MT4

1. Open a Indices Trading Chart


2. Right Click on the Chart to open the Trade "Order" Window


3. On the Trade Order Window, Select Pending Indices Trading Order as shown below


4. Select Pending order Type as Sell Stop Indices Trading Order as Show below


5. After selecting Sell Stop Stock Indexes Order - Click "Place" Order and specify the sell stop stock indexes price level where the order will be opened
