Indices Trading Setup MT4 Platform

After you have signed up for a practice - you will use the account login details and you can then download and install the MetaTrader 4 platform on your computer. If you have not installed any software before go to the folder where you downloaded it (don't know where that is, just do this Press both Ctrl & J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your keyboard, and your downloads will pop up), double-click the download MT4 file and click next, next until you finish installing.

After you have installed the MT4 software you will then open the platform software from the start menu of your computer. After you have opened the MT4 platform you will see the interface you will be working with which may seem complicated at first but it is not. TheLearn MT4 software tutorials will be explained under the learn tutorials lessons section where you will get an explanation of how to use this MetaTrader 4 platform in just one hours time.

At the "top left corner" of MT4 platform software click on the "File" Menu, a drop down menu appears, scroll to where you see "Login" and click it. You will then be prompted to enter the "username" and "password" which you got when you registered for a practice trading account on your broker's web site.' You are now logged into your MT4 platform & you are ready to start trading in the MT4 platform.

After this you will see your account balance displayed just below the charts and you can now start using the MT4 platform to place demo trades on the stock indices trading market. But before you begin trading on a real stock indices trading account, you need to know Indices Trading basics by going to lesson 2, at the right side navigation menu - under all Indices Trading topics or Indices Trading lessons Topics.
