To draw trend lines on a chart - just click MT4 trend-line plotting tool above on the MetaTrader 4 trading analysis software and select point A where you want to start drawing the trend-line & then point B where you want the trend line to touch. You also can right click on MT4 trend line & on the trend line properties option choose the option/choice to extend its ray by ticking "ray tick box", if you don't want to extend the trend line, then untick/uncheck this option in your MT4 -trend-line properties.
