To trade with MT5 software, an indices trader first needs to download the MT5 software and then install that software on their computer.

How to Download MT5
To download MT5 platform a trader will need to first of all go to their stock broker web site & form the stock software section of their stock broker website select MT5 platform and choose the link to download the MT5 platform.
How to Install the MT5
Once a novice trader has successfully completed the download of the MetaTrader 5 software onto their personal computer, the subsequent mandatory step is to proceed with the installation of this MT5 application onto their machine prior to commencing any trading activities using the MT5 platform.
To get MetaTrader 5 on your computer, find the MT5 file you downloaded in your computer's download area. After you click on the file, the MT5 setup process will begin on your screen. Just do what it says - hit "Setup," then keep hitting "Next" until it's all done.
Upon successfully completing the installation of the MT5 software on your computer, you may then launch the MT5 application via your PC's start menu. Once you, the trader, have opened the MT5 platform, log in using either your MT5 stock Demo account credentials or your MetaTrader 5 live account login details, enabling you to subsequently place stock trade orders on the MetaTrader 5 platform using your active MT5 account.

- A Meta Trader 5 Stock Demo Account Login up Panel then will appear prompting you to enter your MT5 stock indices practice account sign-in number & password.
- Click Sign in
Real Account Login and Sign In
You can use your MetaTrader Five real/live account login and sign in details to sign-in to your MT5 Real Stock Account.

- Open Meta Trader 5 which's installed on your computer
- Select and Choose File Menu at the Top Left of the MetaTrader 5 platform
- Choose Stock Account Sign In from File DropDown Menu
- Select Live Account Log-in Option
- A Meta Trader 5 Real Account Login and Sign In up Window Panel will then appear prompting you to enter your MT5 live account sign-in number and password.
