You will need to signup & register with an online broker before you can get this free practice account. After you signup you will then get login details for your Meta Trader 4 practice account. After you have gotten the MetaTrader 4 account details you'll then install the MetaTrader 4 platform on your PC computer. If you've never installed any software before go to folder where you downloaded the MetaTrader 4 platform (don't know where that is, just Press both Ctrl and J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your key board, and your MetaTrader 4 download will appear), double-click the download software file & then click next, next until you finish installing.

After you have installed the MT4 software you will then open the platform software from the start menu of your computer. At 'left top corner' of the MT4 software click on "File" Menu, a dropdown menu appears, scroll to where you see "Log In " & click it. You will then be prompted to enter the "username" and "password" which you got when you registered and signed up on your broker's web site.' You are now logged into your MT4 platform and you're ready to start trading.

After this you'll see your account balance displayed just below charts and you can now start using the MT4 to place demo trades on the market.
