Index Morning Trade
Morning trades in indices pay off big. They top the list in stock markets.
When trading indices, the busiest times are when European banks are open (London trading time) and when banks in the U.S. are open (New York trading time). Most companies around the world do most of their trading in the morning, and very few international companies trade in the afternoon.
This is something many stock market traders who trade often have noticed about the market. Traders will see that when the London market opens, the market will usually move a good number of pips steadily for a few hours, and then after that time, the market will begin to pull back or become stable. Then, when the New York market opens in the morning, the market will again move a large number of pips during the first few hours, and after that, the market will often start to become stable or pull back until the London market opens again the next morning.
Generally these 2 times are when 70 - 80% of all market movement will happen. These are

- New York indices trading morning trade time
So in GMT time what are the indices morning trade times of these 2 markets?
From the chart above, focus on the London and New York morning trades for indices.
- London indices trading morning trade time - 8:00 - 11:00 GMT
- New York indices trading morning trade time - 13:00 - 16:00 GMT
Now, the Indices Morning trade we're doing will only take 3 hours because, for the morning trade, you want to finish your trade before the trading price starts to go back or stay in one place.
So as a indices trading morning trader these will be your indices trading time for opening & closing indices trades. If you decide to open a indices trading morning trade you should close it within the 3 hours morning time because after these morning hours most stock trades by financial institution will already have been executed and therefore after these few hours the liquidity in the market goes down and the trading price movement will slowdown.
