1. Navigation Menus

The Meta Trader 4 navigating menus are:

These are the main MetaTrader 4 navigation menus that can be used to navigate the MetaTrader 4 software platform. 2. Tool Bars

The MT4 tool bars are used to manipulate MetaTrader 4 charts, either by placing MT4 trading indicators, MT4 line studies, change MT4 chart time-frames and load MetaTrader 4 template from a list of saved MT4 templates.

These MT4 tool bars will be discussed on other MetaTrader 4 tutorials which will outline each MetaTrader 4 button on this MT4 tool bar and how to add & customize these MT4 tool-bars.

3. Chart Panel

This Meta Trader 4 chart window is the main area where MetaTrader 4 charts are shown & a stock indices trader can interpret the trend direction of a MetaTrader 4 chart whether upward or downward, place MT4 chart technical indicators for trading analysis and even place orders from these MT4 charts.

4. Navigator

MetaTrader 4 Navigator will contain data about MT4 accounts, whether practice demo or real, this MT4 window panel will also have a list of all the MT4 trading indicators as well as MT4 EAs and scripts.

A trader can choose which MetaTrader 4 account to login by expanding the Accounts menu, select an MetaTrader 4 indicator by expanding the MetaTrader 4 indicator menu or select an MetaTrader 4 Expert Advisor by expanding the EA menu.

5. MarketWatch

Meta Trader 4 Market watch window panel is used to show streaming trading quotes for MetaTrader 4 symbols. To save internet band-width, right-click inside MT4 market watch window and select 'Hide All', to hide the currencies that you are not transacting on this MetaTrader 4 platform & save on inter-net bandwidth.

6. Terminal

This is MetaTrader 4 window that is like the bank account trade area for your MT4 stock trades, on this MetaTrader 4 panel you can view your trading account balance, profit & losses statement, equity, margin used & also to retrieve a copy of all your Meta Trader 4 stock trades history.

7. Connectivity Bar

MetaTrader 4 connection bars - Red bars are for no connection, green bars show that there's connectivity to the servers and MetaTrader 4 stock trade orders can be placed. These MT4 connection bars should always be green when one logged in to their MetaTrader 4 demo account or MetaTrader 4 live account.
