Place MACD Indicator in Chart in MT4

How to Place Technical Indicators in MetaTrader 4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window as illustrated & shown below: Navigate to "View" menu (click it) & then select "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click ++oon the "Navigator" button or press short-cut key-board keys "Ctrl+N"

On Navigator panel, select 'Indicators', (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand the Technical Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will then now appear as (-) and will now be shown as a list as shown below.

From Above panel you then can add any indicator you want on chart.

Placing MACD on Chart

Step 1: Choose the MACD button key in the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as pictured below:

Step 2: Doubleclick the MACD Button Key, and click ok to place the indicator in the chart as pictured below:

Edit Indicator Setting

To Adjust Settings, right click in MACD Indicator, select property settings and then edit the property settings using the popup menu that pops up & click ok button once you change setting.

The following window popup appears & MACD Indicator parameters can be edited from this pop up panel.
