Place Moving Average Indicator on Stock Indices Chart on MT4

How to Place Technical Indicators on Meta Trader 4 Indices Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window panel as illustrated and shown below: Navigate to "View" menu (click it) and then select "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click on the "Navigator" button key or press short-cut key-board keys "Ctrl+N"

On Navigator window, choose 'Technical Indicators', (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button marked (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a list as shown below.

From Above panel you can then add any indicator you want on Indices chart.

Placing MA on Indices Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the Moving Average button key in MT4 list of indicators as displayed below:

Step 2: Double-click the Moving Average Button Key, & click okay to place the indicator on the chart as shown below:

Edit Trading Indicator Setting

To Alter Setting, right click on Indicator, choose properties setting and then edit the properties of indicator using pop up menu that pops up & click ok button key once you change setting.

The following window pop-up appears and Trading Indicator settings can be edited from this window pop-up.
