How to Place OBV MetaTrader 5 Stock Indices Indicator on MT5 Stock Indices Charts

Step 1: Open The Indices Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as shown below; Go to "View" menu (click), then select the "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click the "Navigator" button or press short cut keyboard keys "Ctrl+N"

On the MetaTrader 5 Navigator window, select "Indicators", (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the MetaTrader 5 indices indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or double click the "indicators" menu, after this the MetaTrader 5 button will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown below.

From the Above window you can then place any MT5 indicator that you want on the MetaTrader 5 stock indices chart. The OBV indices volume indicator can be used as a indices trading reversal indicator, indices trading exit indicator or indices entry indicator.

Placing On Balance Volume on Chart

Step 1: Select the On Balance Volume button on the MT5 list of indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click the On Balance Volume Button, and click okay to place the OBV Indicator on the chart as shown below:

Edit OBV Settings

To Adjust Settings, right click on the On Balance Volume Indicator, select properties and then edit the properties of the Indicator using the popup menu that appears and then click ok after changing the settings.

The following popup window appears and On Balance Volume Indicator settings can be edited from this popup window.
