Place Volumes Indicator in Stock Chart in MT4

This Tutorial will explain how to place the Volumes Indicator on a Chart in the MT4 Platform.

How to Place Technical Indicators in MetaTrader 4 Indices Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window as illustrated & shown below: Navigate to "View" menu (click it) & then select "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click ++oon the "Navigator" button or press short-cut key-board keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator panel, choose "Technical Indicators", select Indicators (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand the Technical Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will then now appear as (-) and will now be shown as a list as shown below.

From Above panel you then can add any indicator you want on Indices chart.

Setting Volumes Indicator on Chart

Step 1: Choose the Volumes button key on MT4 list of indicators as displayed below:

Step 2: Double-click the Volumes Button, & click okay to place the indicator in the chart as illustrated below:

Edit Technical Indicator Settings

To Change Settings, right click on Volumes Technical Indicator, choose properties setting & then edit property setting using pop up menu that appears and click ok button key once you change setting.

The following window pop-up appears and technical indicator settings can be edited from this panel popup.
