SPAIN 35 is a Index that keeps track of the top 35 shares/stocks in Bolsa de Madrid - Spanish Bourse. This index keeps track of capitalization of the 35 most traded stocks in Madrid Stock Market. The constituent shares used to calculate this index are reviewed twice a year.

When compared to other indices like EURO STOXX & DAX30 indices which have lower volatility in their trend movements, this index has wider and more volatile swings in its trend movements.
Over a long period of time this stock index will in general move upward, as a trader you want to be biased and keep on buying as the index moves & heads upwards.

During Economic Slow Down & Recession
During economic slow down recession periods, companies start reporting slower earnings, lower profits and lower business growth forecasts.
