Place Average True Range Indicator in Chart in MT4

How to Place Technical Indicators in Meta Trader 4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator panel as illustrated & shown below: Navigate to 'View' menu (click it) and then select 'Navigator' window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click on 'Navigator' button or press short cut key-board keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator panel, choose 'Technical Indicators', (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the indicator menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or double click 'indicators' menu, after that, this button will then now appear as (-) & will now show as a list as displayed below.

From the Above panel you can then add any indicator you want on chart.

Setting ATR on Chart

Step 1: Select the Average True Range button on the MT4 list of technical indicators as illustrated below:

Step 2: Double click Average True Range Button Key, and click okay to place the ATR on chart as illustrated & shown below:

Edit Indices Trading Indicator Settings

To Change Settings, right click on ATR, select properties setting and then edit properties of indicator using popup menu that appears and click ok button key once you change setting.

The following panel pop up pops up and Average True Range Indicator settings can be edited from this window popup.
