How to Place Indicators in MetaTrader 4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window panel like is illustrated and shown below: Navigate to 'View' menu (click it) and then select 'Navigator' panel window (click), or From Standard Tool-Bar click on 'Navigator' button or press shortcut key board keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator panel, choose & select 'Indicators', (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand indicator menu by pressing the enlarge button tool emblem mark + or doubleclick 'indicators' menu, after that, this button will then now appear as (-) & will now show as a list like illustrated below.

From the Above window panel you then can add any indicator which you as a trader want onto the chart.

Setting ATR on Chart

Step 1: Select the Average True Range button on the MetaTrader 4 list of indicators like is illustrated and shown below:

Step 2: Double click Average True Range Button Key, and click ok to place the ATR on chart like illustrated and shown below:

Edit Stock Index Trade Indicator Settings

To Change Settings, rightclick in ATR, choose properties setting and then edit property settings of indicator using pop up menu that pops and click ok button key once you change setting.
