Templates on the Charts Menu in the MetaTrader 4 Platform
The Templates option is accessible via the charts menu within the MetaTrader 4 platform. Many traders utilize MT4 templates as a method to save their established trading systems, allowing them to load the specific strategy onto a fresh chart directly using this template function, thereby avoiding the repetitive task of manually applying technical indicators each time a new chart is opened. Moreover, the MT4 Change Template feature enables traders to save multiple templates for various indices and switch between them while actively trading on MT4 charts.
The Templates Option on the MT4 Platform is Shown Below:

Save a System as a Template in MT4 Platform
E.g. as a trader you might make a trading system shown below.

This system takes 5 minutes to setup, It'd take you 5 minutes to set it up again on every trading chart that you open on your platform. But the MT4 chart template will save you this time by saving this trading strategy as a MT4 template and to place this MT4 chart template on to another chart you only need to load the template on the MT4 platform software.
Save this system by opening the templates in MT4 charts menu. Pick save template.

Once you click the save template button, a window will pop up, and you can save the MT4 chart template and name it as shown here.

First step is to give the MT4 template a name, we name our MT4 template as tradeforextrading & press the save button.
