Templates on the Charts Menu in the MetaTrader 4 Platform
Templates option is provided within the trading charts menu on the MetaTrader 4 platform. MT4 template is used by many traders to save their trading systems, this way they can load the system on a new chart directly from this template option without having to put the chart technical indicators one by one every time they open a new chart. MT4 Change Template - traders can also use these MT4 template option to save more than one indices templates & they keep changing from one template to another when trading in MT4 charts

Save a System as a Template in MT4 Platform
For example as a trader you may create a trading system shown below.
This system takes 5 minutes to setup, It'd take you five minutes to set it up again on every trading chart that you open on your platform. But the MT4 chart template will save you this time by saving this system as a MT4 template and to place this MT4 chart template on to another chart you only need to load the template on the MT4 platform software.
To save the above system you will open the templates button within the charts menu in MetaTrader 4 and use the save template option.
After choosing the save template button key the following pop up will appear and you as a Stock Index trader can use save the MT4 stock chart template & give it a name like displayed & shown below.
First step is to give the MT4 template a name, we name our MT4 template as tradeforextrading & press the save button.
Load a Template in the MetaTrader 4
To load a template on the MT4 platform software, go the charts menu on the MT4 software choose the templates button and choose the submenu item for load template. This will load the named template on to the new chart like as shown below.
The named template on the MetaTrader 4 platform is displayed & shown on the list above: this is a shortcut for the available chart templates that have been saved on the MT4 platform. Another option can be to use the "Load Templates", which is the second option labeled & marked as "Load Templates" on the template menu sub items on the MT4.
Remove Template in the MT4 Software
The third option in the MetaTrader 4 template sub-menus is the remove template: this sub menu item will remove any MT4 chart template that's loaded on the trading chart.
