Set Stop Loss When Opening New Order on Tools Menu on MT5 Platform Software
To open new trade order to buy or sell a trade use the tools pop up menu within MetaTrader 5 Platform as shown below.
New order button for placing a new trade is displayed & illustrated and shown below. (MT5 Short-cut key-board Keys 'F9')
Indices Set Stop Loss on MetaTrader 5 Indices Charts?
Once you choose new order button as shown above following trade order window pop up will appear & you as the trader can use this trade order panel pop up to set StopLoss Level for your new trade position.
This pop up window includes settings for opening a new order as well as parameters for placing Stop Loss Order Level.
How Do I Trade Indices & Set Stop Loss on MetaTrader 5 Indices Charts?
The Following Stop Loss Parameter Settings are specified for setting a new Stop Loss Order:
Stop Loss - Set Stop Loss, This option also can be set after placing a trade, or for pending orders
Open the Buy or Sell Trade by Clicking the Following Buttons:
- Sell by Market - Open a Sell Trade
- Buy by Market - Open a Buy Trade
To Buy at current price and open new order choose Buy by Market order button
To Sell at current price and open new order choose Sell by Market order button
After opening the new trade transactions use Stop Loss Order Window Above to Set StopLoss order for the New Stock Order
You also can get this panel window so that to modify an open buy/sell position - To find this order window for buy or sell trade, rightclick on opened buy/sell position, then after that you click 'Modify Order' button key after you click on modify order button the above order settings button will pop up and appear & you can set StopLoss using the method explained above.
