A buy limit order in indices trading is an order to buy at a better stock indices price after the stock indices price has retraced.
A buy limit order is a pending indices order.
Setting Buy Limit Orders Pending Indices Orders on MetaTrader 4
To set up these buy limit orders in MT4 platform use the following procedure:
- Right-click on the indices chart
- Choose 'Trading' Option on the Trading Menu
- Then Select 'New' Indices Order Option on the Pop up indices trade order widow which pops up
- Then on the indices trade setup pop up window panel that pops up -shown below, under label 'Type' of stock indices order select option of Indices "Pending Indices Order" instead of 'market execution' trading order
- Under the indices pending stock indices order options select the indices pending trading order type: for this indices trade select "Buy Limit Indices Order" pending stock indices order so as to place a pending indices buy limit trading order & after which specify the stock indices price at which you want the buy limit indices pending trading order executed.
