How to Draw Stock Trend Lines on MetaTrader 4 Software

The Meta Trader 4 software provides trend-line drawing tools for drawing the trend-lines on Meta Trader 4 charts. To draw a trendline on a chart on MT4 software, stock traders can use Meta Trader 4 trend line plotting tool provided in MT4 platform that is shown on the examples explained & illustrated below.

To draw a trendline on a chart - just click the Meta Trader 4 trendline plotting tool shown above on the MT4 platform & select point A where you want to start drawing the trendline & then point B where you want the trend-line to touch. You can also right click on a trend-line & on the trend line settings option select the option to extend the ray by ticking the "ray check box", if you do not want to extend the trend line, then untick/uncheck this option in your Meta Trader 4 platform -trend line settings. You can also adjust other trend line settings such as trend-line color and trend-line width on this trend line property tab of the trend line settings.
