What is the Maximum Leverage for Indices Trading?
The maximum trading leverage that you can trade with is the trading leverage that is set by your broker when you open a trading account. This leverage is set based on the leverage option that you choose when opening your trading account.
The default trading leverage set by most brokers is 100:1 leverage - therefore if you open an account with this option then the maximum leverage you can use is 100:1
When opening an account you can choose a different leverage option for examples you can select the 200:1 leverage option which means the maximum leverage you can use is 200:1
Maximum leverage set for your trading account will depend on the leverage that you chose when you were opening a trading account with your trading broker.
