What is the Maximum Leverage for Indices Trade?

The maximum trading leverage that you as a Stock Index trader can transact with is the trading leverage that is set by your broker when you open a trading account. This leverage is set based on the leverage option that you choose when opening your account.

The default trading leverage set by most brokers is 100:1 leverage - therefore if you open an account with this option then the maximum leverage you as a Stock Index trader can use is 100:1

When opening an account you as a stock indices trader can choose a different leverage ratio for example you as a stock indices trader can select the 200:1 leverage which means the maximum leverage you as a stock indices trader can use is 200:1

Maximum leverage set for your trading account will depend on the leverage that you chose when you were opening a trading account with your online trading broker.
