Place Zigzag Indicator in Chart in the MT4

How to Set Technical Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Charts
Step 1: Open The Software Navigator Window
Open Navigator panel like is shown & portrayed below: Navigate to "View" menu (click on it) & then choose and select the "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click on the "Navigator" button or press short-cut key board keys "Ctrl+N"
On Navigator panel, select 'Indicators', (DoubleClick)
Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator
Expand this menu by pressing the expound tool marker point ( + ) or double-click the "indicators" menu, after which the button key will then now be shown as (-) & will now be put to display as a listing just as shown below.
From Above window you as a stock indices trader can then add any trading indicator you as a trader want onto the chart.
Placing and Adding Zigzag Indicator on a Chart
Step 1: Choose the Zigzag button in the MetaTrader 4 list of indicators as pictured below:
Step 2: Double click Zigzag Button, & press ok to set it on chart like is illustrated and displayed below:
Edit Zigzag Indicator Settings
To Change Settings, right click in Zigzag, choose property setting and then edit the property setting using the popup menu which appears & click ok button once you change setting.
The following window popup appears & the Zigzag settings can be edited using this window pop-up.
