Place Zigzag Indicator in Chart in MT4

How to Place Technical Indicators in MT4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window as illustrated & shown below: Navigate to "View" menu (click it) & then select "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click ++oon the "Navigator" button or press short-cut key-board keys "Ctrl+N"

On Navigator panel, select 'Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Trading Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will then now appear as (-) and will now be shown as a list as shown below.

From Above panel you then can add any indicator you want on chart.

Placing Zig zag on Chart

Step 1: Choose the Zigzag button key in the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as pictured below:

Step 2: Double click Zigzag Button, & click okay to place it on chart as illustrated & shown below:

Edit Zigzag Technical Indicator Settings

To Change Settings, right click in Zigzag, choose property setting and then edit the property setting using the pop up menu that appears & click ok button key once you change setting.

The following window popup appears & the Zigzag settings can be edited from this window pop-up.
