How Do You Trade Indices and Login to MT5 Platform?

Before placing any trade on the MT5 software, you'll be required to log in to your account & get authenticated before gaining access. Authentication is checking to see if the sign in details you provide for User-name & Pass-word are the correct log in details for your account.

To start trading on MT5, just click on 'File', then choose & click 'Login' button key from the file drop down menu as displayed below.

How to Login to MT5 Software?

As a trader once you click this login button key, then a window popup will appear prompting you to put your Username and Password as illustrated and shown below:

How Do You Trade Indices and Login to MT5 Software?

Once you in put your User Name & Password you will then have to choose the server: because this is a demo indices trading account, for this instance you will then choose 'Demo', if it was a real Stock Indices account/live Indices account then you would have to choose 'Real' Server on this option by clicking the drop down arrow on the right side of the above text box.

Then tick the box 'Save Account Information'

Then Click 'Sign in'

Once you click login your details will be authenticated and you will then have access to your MT5 stock indices trading account and when logged in to your stock indices trading account you can begin to trade & place new stock indices orders in the stock indices trading market on the MT5 platform. If you do not have login details you can get these details by registering a practice trading account with a broker.
