How to Place Indices Indicators in MT4 Stock Indices Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open MetaTrader 4 Navigator window as illustrated and shown below: Navigate to 'View' menu (click it) & then select 'Navigator' window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click on 'Navigator' button key or press short cut keyboard keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator window, choose 'Technical Indicators', (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand the MT4 Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button key marker (+) or doubleclick the 'indicators' menu, after this the button will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a list as displayed below.

From the Above panel you can then add any indicator you want on Indices chart.

Placing Zigzag MT4 Indicator on Chart

Step 1: Choose the Zigzag MetaTrader 4 Indicator button on the MetaTrader 4 list of indices indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click Zigzag MetaTrader 4 Indicator Button, and click okay to place it on the chart as illustrated below:

Edit Zigzag MetaTrader 4 Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust Settings, right click on Zigzag MetaTrader 4 Indicator, select properties settings and then edit the property settings using the popup menu that appears and click ok button key once you change setting.

The following window pop-up pops up and Zigzag MetaTrader 4 Technical Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up panel.
