How Do I Trade Indices and Change the Indices Order Type Execution from Market Execution to Indices Pending Trading Order?
Indices Trading Set and change the indices order type execution from "Market Execution" to "Pending Indices Order"
First open the indices trade order menu as shown below:
To get the order window on the MetaTrader 4 platform: The New indices order button for placing a new index trade is displayed below. (ShortCut Key board Keys "F9")
Indices Trading Change Indices Order Types on Trading Orders Panel in MT4?
Once you have selected new order button as illustrated above following indices trade order popup window will appear & as a trader you can use this indices trade order popup to change the order type execution from "Market Execution" to "Pending Indices Order".
This pop up includes the settings for placing a new indices trade order as well as settings for setting Stop Loss Indices Order Level.

A Menu of Pending Stock Indices Orders is then displayed as shown below
To Set a pending indices order at another indices price, Change the order panel "Type" option from "Market Execution" to 'Pending Indices Order" as shown below.
A menu list of index pending orders will pop & show the following options.
- Buy Limit Indices Order
- Sell Limit Indices Order
- Buy Stop Stock Indices Order
- Sell Stop Indices Order
