How Do I Trade Indices and Hide Indices Symbols on MetaTrader 4?
To hide indices Quotes in MT4 platform use MT4 "Market Watch" Window.
To Open MetaTrader 4 Market Watch Window Panel, Click "View" Menu next to the "File" Menu at the tops left corner of MT4 platform, then from the drop down menu select "Market Watch" button so as to open the "Market Watch" on the MetaTrader 4 indices Platform.
Once you open the Market Watch window the list of available trading indices symbols will be displayed on the MetaTrader 4 software.
As a trader you may want to hide some of the indices symbols available on the MetaTrader 4 platform so as only to be left with the indices instruments that you are only trading with.

To Save Internet Bandwidth, (Especially if you're using mobile trader, or pay per MB internet)
To save inter-net band width select a list of all the indices instruments you will be trading by opening charts for only these indices symbols, say example, 5 indices instruments, after selecting these symbols by opening their stock indices charts, then select & click "Hide All" button key, this will then hide all symbols which you do not require to trade with, thus saving you internet bandwidth.
Even if you do not want to save internet bandwidth, you can choose the option to "Hide All" indices symbols on the MetaTrader 4 platform, this will save computer processor resources and RAM, especially if you trade with a broker that provides hundreds of indices instruments, indices symbols and indices instruments, there no need to have all these 100 or 200 indices symbols and indices instruments streaming stock indices price quotes on your MT4 software after all you need only about 10 to 20 indices instruments or a few indices instruments to trade with.
