How Do I Trade Indices and Set Indices Orders in MT5 Indices Charts?

To set a new indices order in MetaTrader 5 software use the step by step procedure described below:

Place New Indices Order on Tools Menu in MetaTrader 5 Software

A new stock indices order to buy or sell a trade can be found on the tools menu within the MT5 Platform as illustrated below. The New order button for placing a new indices trade is illustrated below. (MT5 Short Cut Key board Keys "F9")

Once you select the new indices order button as illustrated above following indices order popup window will appear.

This pop up includes the settings for placing a new indices trade order.

How Do You Trade Indices and Set Indices Orders in MT5 Indices Charts?

Following Order Setting are specified for setting up & placing a new indices trading order:

1. Symbol - Specify the instrument to be traded -indices.
2. Volume - The Number of Lots to be transacted
3. Stop Loss Stock Indices Order - Set Stop Loss Indices Order, This option can be set after opening the trade, or for pending indices orders
4. Take Profit Stock Indices Order - Set Take Profit Indices Order, This option can be set after opening the trade, or for pending indices orders
5. Type: Market Execution or Pending Indices Order
6. Sell by Market - Open a Sell Indices Trade
7. Buy by Market - Open a Buy Indices Trade

To Buy at current stock indices price & open a new indices order select Buy by Market indices order button

To Sell at current stock indices price & open a new indices order select Sell by Market indices order button
