Place ADX Indicator

This Tutorial will explain how to place the ADX indicator on charts on the MT4 Platform. For Technical analysis: ADX Technical Analysis.

How to Place Technical Indicators in MT4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window as illustrated & shown below: Navigate to "View" menu (click it) & then select "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click ++oon the "Navigator" button or press short-cut key-board keys "Ctrl+N"

On Navigator panel, select 'Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Technical Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the indicator menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or double-click the "indicators" menu, after that, this button key will then now appear as (-) and will now show as a list as shown below.

From Above panel you then can add any indicator you want on stocks chart.

Placing Average Direction Movement on Chart

Step 1: Select the ADX button on the MT4 list of technical indicators as pictured below:

Step 2: Double-click the ADX Button, and click ok to place the indicator in the chart as pictured below:

Edit ADX Technical Indicator Settings

To Change Settings, right click on ADX, choose properties setting and then edit properties of indicator using pop up menu that appears & click ok button key once you change setting.

The following window popup appears & ADX settings can be edited from this window pop-up.
