Place and Add ADX Indicator
This Tutorial will demostrate and describe how to place the ADX trading indicator on charts on the MT4 Platform. For Technical analysis: ADX Technical Analysis.
How to Set Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Charts
Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window Panel
Open the Navigator panel window like is illustrated and displayed below: Navigate to "View" menu (click on it) & then choose and select "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click on the "Navigator" button or press short-cut key board keys "Ctrl+N"
On Navigator panel, select 'Indicators', (DoubleClick)
Step 2: Expand the Technical Indicators Menu in the Navigator
Expand indicator menu by pressing the expound button/tool feature mark + or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after that, this button will then now be shown as (-) & will now show as a list like shown below.
From Above window you then can add any indicator you want on stocks chart.
Placing and Adding Average Direction Movement on a Chart
Step 1: Select the ADX button on the MetaTrader 4 list of indicators like as shown below:
Step 2: DoubleClick the ADX Button, & press ok to set the technical indicator to the chart like shown below:
Edit ADX Settings
To Change Settings, rightclick in ADX, choose properties setting & then edit properties of indicator using pop up menu which appears & click ok button key once you change setting.
The following window popup appears & ADX settings can be altered and edited using this window pop-up.
