Place Heiken Ashi Indicator in Chart in MT4 Stock Chart

This training course will walk you through how to set up Heiken Ashi on a trading chart in MetaTrader 4. We'll cover all the technical indicators you'll need to analyze the market.

How to Set Indicators on MT4 Stock Charts

Step 1: Open The Software Navigator Panel

Open Navigator panel just as illustrated and shown below: Go to "View" menu (click on it) & then select the "Navigator" window (press), or From Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button or press shortcut key board keys "Ctrl+N"

On Navigator window, select 'Technical Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand Stock Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Open the menu list by clicking the magnify + tool marker sign "+" or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after which the button key will now be shown as (-) and will now be shown as a listing as illustrated below.

From the aforementioned panel, you are then free to superimpose any technical indicator you, as a trader, wish to apply onto the chart surface.

Setting Heiken Ashi on Chart

Step 1: On your MT4 platform, select the Heiken Ashi button from the list of available indicators as shown below.

Step 2: Double click on the Heiken Ashi button and press the okay button to apply the indicator to the chart as illustrated below.

To Change Settings, click the right mouse button in Heiken Ashi Indicator, pick properties setting & then change the technical indicator settings using the little window that opens, then click ok to save.

The following window pop-up appears, allowing you to modify Indicator settings using this window.
