How to Place Technical Indicators on MT4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Software Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window just as displayed & shown below: Navigate to the 'View' menu (click it) and then select 'Navigator' window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click on 'Navigator' button or press short cut key board keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator window, select and choose 'Technical Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand this menu by clicking the open tool button function "+" or doubleclick the 'indicators' menu, afterwards the button appears as (-) & will now be revealed as a list like as shown below.

From the Above window then you can add any indicator which you as a trader need onto the chart.

Placing and Adding Stochastic Indicator in Chart

Step 1: Select or choose the Stochastic Indicator Technical button from the MT4 list of indicators, as illustrated and shown below:

Step 2: Click the Stochastic Trading Indicator button twice, then click ok to put the indicator on the chart like it's shown here:

Edit Indicator Settings

To modify the settings, right-click on the indicator, select Properties Setting, then use the pop-up menu to make changes, then click OK button.

The window that appears lets you change and adjust the settings for the stock's technical indicator using this same window.
