How to Place Indicators in MetaTrader 4 Indices Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window panel like is illustrated & shown below: Navigate to the 'View' menu (click on it) and then select 'Navigator' panel window (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click on 'Navigator' button or press shortcut key board keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator panel, choose & select 'Indicators', (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand indicator menu by clicking the protract (+) button/tool mark off " + " or doubleclick 'indicators' menu, after that, this button will then now appear as (-) & will now show as a list like illustrated below.

From the Above window you as a trader can then add any trading indicator you as a trader want on stocks chart.

Placing Bollinger Band

Step 1: Select and Choose the Bollinger Band button on MT4 list of indicators like shown below:

Step 2: Double-click the Bollinger Bands Button, and click ok button to add the indicator to the chart like as shown below:

Edit Stock Indicator Settings

To Adjust Setting, right-click on Bollinger Bands, choose properties setting and then edit properties settings using pop up menu that pops and click ok button key once you change setting.
