Place Bollinger Bands Indicator on Chart on MT4

How to Place Technical Indicators in Meta Trader 4 Indices Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator panel as illustrated and shown below: Navigate to 'View' menu (click it) and then choose 'Navigator' window panel (click), or From Standard Toolbar click on 'Navigator' button or press short-cut key-board keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator window, choose 'Technical Indicators', (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the indicator menu by clicking the expand button key marker (+) or double click the 'indicators' menu, after that, this button key will then now appear as (-) & will now show as a list as displayed below.

From the Above panel you can then add any indicator you want on stock indices chart.

Placing Bollinger Bands

Step 1: Select the Bollinger Bands button on MetaTrader 4 list of indicators as displayed below:

Step 2: Double-click the Bollinger Bands Button, and click okay to place the technical indicator in the chart as displayed below:

Edit Stock Indices Indicator Settings

To Change Setting, right-click on Bollinger Bands, select properties setting and then edit property setting using pop up menu that appears & click ok button key once you change setting.

The following window panel pop up pops up & Bollinger Bands settings can be edited from this panel popup.
