Objects Listing on Charts Menu in MetaTrader 4 Platform
On the MT4 platform, charts menu options, the second button is the 'Objects' listing button. Objects list is used to show a listing of all object that are placed on the chart, this list will include objects such as trading indicators, trendlines, text labels and any object which has been placed on MetaTrader chart.

Objects List
The objects listing menu has the following sub menu options:
- Objects List
- Delete Last
- Delete All Selected
- Delete All Arrows
- Unchoose All
- Undo Delete
The first option is the 'Objects List'
To view all the object which are placed on chart that you're trading, press the objects listing button, this will show a list of all objects on the chart just like the on the exemplifications displayed and illustrated below:
On this chart the objects illustrated above are set on the chart. To delete all objects just select all object by clicking on then, ticking check box to the left, & click delete.
Show - This option will show the object selected and chosen and locate it on the chart.
Edit - Can be used to edit settings of any of the object within this 'objects list'
The other submenu items on this objects list are:
- Delete Last - Delete the last object that was placed on the trading chart
- Delete All Chosen - Select some objects by doubleclicking on them, then select this option to delete all chosen.
- Delete All Arrows - Deletes all the arrows
- Unselect All - Unselect all objects that may and might have been chosen on the charts.
- Undo Delete - Undo a delete and put back a deleted object on the trading chart
To view objects list, directly using a short-cut a stock index trader can press keyboard buttons 'Ctrl+B' as a short cut to this menu.
