Place and Set New Order on the Tools Menu in MT4 Platform

A new order to buy or sell a trade can be found on tools menu within MT4 Platform. The Button for placing a new trade position is displayed below. (Short Cut key board Keys "F9")

Setting a New Trade Order

As a stock index trader, once you choose & select the new order button option like displayed above following window popup will appear. This panel popup includes all the settings used for opening new trade order.

Following Setting are specified for setting up and placing a new order:

Symbol - Specify the trading instrument to be transacted.
Volume - The Number of Lots to be traded and transacted
Stop Loss Stock Order - Set Stop Loss Order, This option can be set/placed after opening a trade, or for pending orders
Take Profit Stock Order - Set TakeProfit, This one can be set after placing a trade, or for pending orders
Type: Market Execution or Pending Order
Sell by Market - Open a Sell Trade
Buy by Market - Open a Buy Trade

To Buy at current stock price hit the Buy by Market button

To Sell at current stock price hit Sell by Market button

Setting and Placing Pending Stock Orders

To Place a pending trade order at another price, Change the "Type" option from "Market Execution" to "Pending Order" like illustrated below.

A menu list will pop-up and show the following options.

Buy Limit
Sell Limit
Buy Stop Stock Order
Sell Stop Stock Index Order

Once you choose & select the type of pending stock order to place: then click the "Place" button as is illustrated on the above screenshot to complete the set-up.
