Place New Indices Trading Order in Tools Menu in MetaTrader 4 Software

A new trading order to buy or sell a trade can be found on tools menu within the MT4 Platform. The Button for placing a new trade is shown below. (Short-Cut Key board Keys "F9")

Placing a New Indices Trade Order

As a indices trader, once you choose the new order button as illustrated above following window pop up will appear. This window popup includes all the settings used for placing a new trade order.

Following Setting are specified for setting up and placing a new order:

1. Symbol - Specify the instrument to be traded.
2. Volume - The Number of Lots to be transacted
3. Stop Loss Stock Indices Order - Set Stop Loss Indices Order, This option can be set after opening the trade, or for pending indices orders
4. Take Profit Stock Indices Order - Set Take Profit Indices Order, This option can be set after opening the trade, or for pending indices orders
5. Type: Market Execution or Pending Indices Order
6. Sell by Market - Open a Sell Trade
7. Buy by Market - Open a Buy Trade

To Buy at current stock price hit the Buy by Market button

To Sell at current stock price hit Sell by Market button key

Setting Pending Stock Indices Orders

To Set a pending trade at another indices trading price, Change the "Type" option from "Market Execution" to "Pending Indices Order" as shown below.

A menu list will pop-up & show the following options.

1. Buy Limit Indices Order
2. Sell Limit Indices Order
3. Buy Stop Stock Indices Order
4. Sell Stop Indices Order

Once you choose the type of pending stock order to place: then click the "Place" button key as illustrated on the above screenshot to complete the setup.
